In the average home, 20 percent of the energy used is wasted. Get a SCORE Assessment and receive free energy saving devices, while learning how your habits can lower your bills. An assessment takes an hour, is scheduled at your convenience and comes with a free Cosmos pizza afterward.
The $CORE program is coordinated through the CU Environmental Center and helps student renters save money on their energy bills by providing them with energy saving tools and information.
Each assessment, which takes around an hour and is scheduled at your convenience, will be performed by two trained CU student technicians. Energy saving devices such as energy efficient CFL light bulbs, weather-stripping, sink aerators, window film, pipe insulation and low-flow showerheads will be installed completely free of charge. While one technician is busy doing quick installs, the other will sit down and discuss targeted ways to save money on energy bills.
If over half of your roommates are present, your house will be ordered a free Cosmo’s Pizza on us!
