Learn to go global for your career

Interested in finding opportunities to go global? The good news: there are many options for working, teaching, and volunteering abroad, and offices at CU Boulder that can help you prepare. It’s never too early to start planning, and the following resources on campus can help get you started:

  • Meet with a career counselor to further explore your areas of interests.
  • Talk to your advisors, meet with your professors, and use departmental resources to learn about international majors, minors and certificate programs on campus.
  • Visit the Study Abroad office for information on study abroad programs, including internship opportunities for credit.
  • Review the SOFO Student Group Directory to find internationally-focused student groups on campus.
  • Use social media tools, such as LinkedIn, to find professionals and international-related groups to connect and seek advice.
