Do you experiment or innovate with new technology in your courses? Do you explore new technologies in your scholarship, and then integrate them into the classroom? Are you interested in meeting others who do the same, sharing your experiences, and learning more?
ASSETT, OIT, and the University Libraries welcome applicants for the Spring 2013 Teaching with Technology Seminar for faculty in tenure-track, instructor, or lecturer ranks. (Lecturers are eligible to apply if they have taught at CU 4 of the past 5 semesters). Past applicants are welcome to reapply. The seminar meets for two hours, 6 - 7 times during the course of the semester. A maximum of 10 faculty will be selected to participate. Selected faculty will be expected to participate in all sessions (co-leading one of them), to contribute to an online forum on teaching and learning with technology, and to create a final product or resource useful to other teaching faculty on campus. Each participant will receive a $2,000 stipend for their professional use, transferred to an appropriate CU-Boulder campus speedtype. Faculty should be teaching or have access to a course during Spring, Summer or Fall of 2013.
The deadline for to apply for the Spring seminar is January 7, 2013.
