Environmental Design faculty and students receive Professional Landscape Architecture award

Program in Environmental Design faculty members, Brian Cook and David Kahn, and the students from their spring 2013 Burke Park Praxis Studio received the American Society of Landscape Architects Colorado 2013 Merit Award For Design. The award was presented at the 2013 ASLA Colorado Design Awards and Holiday Celebration at the Four Seasons Hotel on December 12th. The design-build project won this professional achievement award going up against licensed landscape architecture professionals across Colorado and Wyoming. The ASLA Professional Design Awards Program recognizes professionals in their pursuit to lead, educate and participate in careful stewardship, wise planning and artful design of our cultural and natural environment. Out of over 40 projects submitted, only 17 received awards this year. Visit the Burke Park Praxis website for images and more information about the project.
