Engineering seeks Assistant Dean for Programs and Engagement

The Assistant Dean for Programs and Engagement is a member of the College of Engineering and Applied Science senior leadership team, as a member of both the Dean’s Cabinet and the Administrative Council. The position works with the Dean and other leaders at a strategic level to improve the effectiveness of the College. The primary goal of the position is the development and leadership of highly effective student and faculty programs that support college growth and excellence; development and implementation of the college brand and communications in a way that differentiates the college; and engagement of alumni and industry partners in refining and delivering the college strategy. These goals will be met through effective leadership and partnerships with other members of the college leadership team, including the dean, assistant and associate deans, department chairs, and program directors as well as effective partnerships with other units on campus as programs are developed or expanded. Success will also require effective external relations with industry partners and leaders and college alumni.
