CU sophomores, Sadie Lahey and Devon Wycoff competed in the Junior Olympic Equestrian Games in late July. Lahey, an engineering major, helped her team win team silver with a total team average of 198.841, while Wycoff, a film studies major, anchored her team to a bronze team medal with a team average of 198.158. Lahey placed 15th individually, moving her on to the freestyle round. Wycoff won an individual bronze medal, also qualifying her for the freestyle round. Lahey placed 13th in the freestyle while Wycoff placed just off the podium in fourth place. The Junior Olympics includes competitors, 16 years old to 21 years old from all over North, Central and South America. Congrats to our Junior Olympic equestrian Buffs!
