'Christo and Jeanne-Claude Over The River Project' Course

The "Christo and Jeanne-Claude Over The River Project" course will be offered this fall 2014 semester to students across campus and will explore different aspects of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's proposed art project in Colorado over the Arkansas River. This is a Special Topics multi-disciplinary class at ATLAS Institute that will focus on Christo and Jeanne-Claude's proposed Over The River project for the Arkansas River between Salida and Cañon City.

The purpose of this team-based class will be to create original videos, documents, research papers and/or other media that highlight how art plays in the social and economic fabric of our American West and worldwide. The course counts as an elective for most students but does count as the "Invention and Practice" credit for Technology, Arts, and Media (TAM) certificate and minor students through ATLAS Institute.
