Celebrate graduation while showing your family’s connection to CU

Did you happen to see the black and gold cords graduating seniors wore during commencement in December or May?

As part of the Forever Buffs initiative, the CU-Boulder Alumni Association began a new tradition by providing “legacy cords” to graduating students whose family members are CU alums. The cords are worn with the student’s graduation gown to recognize his or her family ties to CU.

Students graduating in December who have CU family ties can pick up their free legacy cord Dec. 10 – 20 at the CU Heritage Center located in Old Main on the third floor, and at The Herd’s Senior Sendoff on Dec. 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Koenig Alumni Center located on the southeastern corner of University and Broadway.
