CCTSI Novel Methods Phase II - LOI due Jan. 21, 2013

The Colorado Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CCTSI) is seeking proposals to provide $25,000 towards development of a novel methodology specifically designed to help a colleague progress in their clinical or translational research.

We are seeking proposals focused on:

• Development of a non-invasive contrast-enhanced T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (CE T2-MRI) method for macrophage imaging in mouse models of breast cancer

• Development of a non-invasive imaging method for detection and quantification of fibrosis in human kidneys

• Development of histology-based flow cytometry for multi-parameter, quantitative analysis of cell populations in situ

• Development of a non-behavioral, perhaps electrophysiological, method for assessing speech discrimination in hard-of-hearing young infants.

If you think you may be able to develop a methodology to solve one of the above needs, consider submitting a proposal to the CCTSI. Additional details on the methodological development need and on the application process can be found on the CCTSI website.
