July 1 - Aug. 31 CU-Boulder employees participated in the Boulder County Clean Air Challenge. Helping to reduce vehicle emissions by choosing alternative transportation (biking, busing, vanpooling, walking, carpooling, etc.) participants improved air quality, reduced traffic congestion, and conserved energy during the higher ozone months. Commuters registered and then selected alternatives to driving alone once or twice per week. Their dedication created a huge payback for our community…the addition of a new Boulder B-cycle station which is scheduled to arrive on East Campus. Keep watching for the B-cycle station coming soon.
