ASSETT invites proposals from Arts & Sciences Faculty, Departments, and Programs for awards relating to the use of technology primarily for teaching and learning. The maximum award possible is $5000.
Faculty of any rank and GPTIs may apply. Staff also may be co-applicants.
Department proposals for equipment or software that may be used in teaching and learning are also welcome. All funds must be used by June 15, 2013. Funds may not be used for research conference travel, course buyouts, faculty/staff salary support, or projects wholly relating to graduate education.
Complete the proposal submission form at http://assett.colorado.edu/post/4094 by Oct. 31, 2012. Any questions about the form can be directed to Joyce Holliday, ASSETT program assistant, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Prior to submission, proposers may wish to contact ASSETT Teaching and Learning Consultant Amanda McAndrew at Amanda.McAndrew@colorado.edu to discuss ideas or learn more about what is expected in a proposal.
Proposals will be reviewed by a committee of department chairs representing each of the A&S divisions.
