Join the CU TTO and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) to learn about proof-of-concept grants available to university researchers to advance technologies from the lab toward commercial products and services. These grants, funded by the 2013 Advanced Industries Acceleration (AIA) Act, are available for research programs with commercial applications in any of Colorado's key high-tech sectors, such as advanced manufacturing, aerospace, bioscience, electronics, energy/natural resources, engineering and information technology.
These campus events will give an overview of the grant opportunity, deadlines and application processes, as well as key differences from the program's precursor, the Bioscience Discovery & Evaluation Grant (BDEG) program.
TWO SESSIONS: 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Caruthers Biotech, A400 and noon to 1 p.m. ATLAS 204.
