Abandoned bikes and impacted bike rack removal

Abandoned Bike Removal: PTS removes bikes after the spring semester that appear to be in disrepair, or abandoned to avoid theft or vandalism. At-risk bikes have been flyered several times with a notification of this operation. Bike cuts will occur on both core campus and at racks near all residence hall locations, including Williams Village beginning the week of May 13, 2013. Be sure to remove your bike prior to the end of spring semester 2013, or it may be impounded by PTS.

Summer Bike Rack Removal: Bike racks that will be affected by campus construction projects will be temporarily removed beginning, May 13, 2013. Currently known areas of affected racks have been marked with “No Parking” signs, please keep in mind that as more projects begin other racks that are not currently signed may be affected throughout the summer. All bikes that remain parked at impacted bike racks after this date, will be removed and impounded by PTS. Be sure to remove your bike from the impacted rack if the rack contains a “No Parking” sign.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions, or would like assistance to find your bike call Chris Sallie: 303-492-6244.
