Understanding environmental problems; identifying stakeholders; understanding core interests; procedural fairness; escalation control; justifying aspirations; negotiation/consensus building; administrative procedures limits of negotiations; public education/grassroots organization; general approaches to environmental policy; of general applicability to environmental problems.


Examines global survival issues and human values. Focuses on such problems as overpopulation, world hunger and poverty, pollution, resource shortages, environmental impact of technology and population dynamics, public policy, and strategies for change.
