Department of Humanities seeks to hire a new Faculty Member

The Department of Humanities invites applications for an Associate Professor with tenure or a tenurable Assistant Professor. While fields and geographical areas of research, publication, and teaching are open for this position, applicants working across the following fields are especially encouraged to apply: new media, feminism, film, word/image/music studies, Mediterranean, Latin American, and early modern studies. Candidates must demonstrate strong interdisciplinary publications, research interests, and teaching. PhD in a relevant humanities field required. Also required: demonstrated excellence in teaching; administrative experience. Job duties include teaching, research and publication, and service to the University. Start date August 2009.
