Looking to hire Work-Study Student Assistant IV
The Department of Humanities & Comparative Literature is currently seeking a Work-Study eligible student. This position is for 10 hours per week paying $12 hourly.
Responsibilities: Maintain & create website. Maintain department PCs/Network/Printers. Photocopy, run errands, answer phone/questions.
Skills: HTML/CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, PERL, Router Port Forwarding & VPN, password-protected sites, problem solving, customer service/interpersonal skills.

Paul Gordon awarded the prestigious Boulder Faculty Assembly Teaching Excellence Award

Lindsay M. Roberts and Meghan C. Vicks receive Katherine Jacob Lamont Scholarship.
Congratulations to Humanities undergraduate student, Lindsay M. Roberts, and Comparative Literature graduate student, Meghan C. Vicks, winners of the 2008 Katherine Jacob Lamont Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded by individual humanities departments to students who have strong academic records and who have made significant contributions to their departments.
Meghan Vicks receives Student Teaching Excellence Award
Congratulations to graduate student Meghan Vicks, winner of the 2007-2008 Graduate Student Teaching Excellence Award. The honor includes an award of $500.00.
For over 30 years the Graduate School has awarded up to ten Graduate Part-Time Instructors Teaching Excellence Awards. Determinations are made by a committee comprised of faculty members from across the disciplines who select award recipients on the basis of a biographical statement, faculty recommendations, student evaluations, and classroom observations.
