Making a Living While Making a Difference
INVST Community Studies offers several resources to those who would like
to make a living while making a positive difference. We invite you to
visit our office, where you will find job postings and descriptions of
paid and un-paid internship opportunities and volunteer positions. We
maintain files on domestic and international opportunities for meaningful
work. We provide information about short- and long-term commitments. We
also provide materials that will help you succeed during a job search,
such as a resumé-writing pamphlet, sample resumés, a cover
letter-writing pamphlet and tips for successfully interviewing.
You will find these resources in the Peace Room, located in our office
on the CU-Boulder campus at 1201 17th Street in the Institute of
Behavioral Science Building 5, Suite 11. The Peace Room was established
by Community Leadership Program students. Anyone is welcome to use the
resources in the Peace Room. Please call ahead to check on staff hours
and availability.
