As a scientific theory of human communication, how does cybernetics go beyond information theory? What are its limitations?
Clarification of values:
Like information theory, communication doesn’t “count” unless it has some effect.
Does cybernetics overemphasize control as a value?
Reform of society: Would you want to live in a society organized entirely on cybernetic principles (feedback control)? What are the implications for work, personal privacy, etc.?
