  Assistive Technology in Higher Education Subcommittee ( ATHES)


Mission statement:

ATHES seeks to network and collaborate with other AT professionals in higher education in Colorado and Wyoming. This networking/collaborative relationship will facilitate best practices for providing assistive technologies and the leadership and collective voice necessary to assist our respective schools with providing equal access to technology and educational resources and materials in inclusive settings.

Networking and collaboration with other AT Professionals in higher education in Colorado and Wyoming
To learn best practices and best and most current tools for serving students
To use the power of the group to bring about change for the benefit of students with disabilities
To access technology
To provide leadership to help our schools mainstream students in the most inclusive setting and to provide equal educational access to/through technology
To work together to develop legal awareness of our obligations
