Working with various universities across the U.S., Claudia Salomon Tarquini comes to the University of Colorado-Boulder to present her current research in Indigenous Studies. Salomon Tarquini's current Fullbright scholarship centers on research of histories of different indigenous peoples throughout the Americas, currently focusing on research of North American indigenous communities in the U.S. Her previous studies center on the indigenous peoples of her hometown, La Pampa, Argentina. Published works include, Largas noches en La Pampa. Itinerarios y resistencias de la población indígena (1878-1976), (2010) [Long Nights in La Pampa. Itineraries and resistance of the indigenous population (1878-1976)], which highlights the histories of indigenous peoples in La Pampa Province. 

She currently serves as an adjuct researcher at CONICET (Consejo Nacional Investigaciones Cientificas y Técnicas/National Scientific Technical Research Council) and adjunct professor at UNLPAM (Universidad Nacional de La Pampa/National University of La Pampa).
