Lodging
Rooms have been reserved at two local hotels. Group rates are available at each hotel provided reservations are made by February 22, 2007. After this date, availability is not guaranteed and the rate will increase. When you call either hotel for reservations, tell the receptionist you will be participating in the Shifting Frontiers Conference in order to get the group rate.
- The Hotel Boulderado is reserving standard roms (one queen bed) at $129 per night and deluxe rooms (two queen beds) at $139 per night.
- The Quality Inn is reserving rooms (with either one or two queen beds) at $79 per night. The rate remains the same for double occupancy.
- The Boulder University Inn is reserving single rooms at $79 per night. This hotel will hold rooms at the group rate through March 1.
When you reserve, be sure to state that you are with the Shifting Frontiers Conference in order to get the group rate.
All three hotels are within walking distance of the CU campus. The Boulder University Inn, on Broadway, is a five minute walk from the campus. The Quality Inn, located on the serene Boulder Creek, is a fifteen minute brisk walk to the Eaton Humanities Building along the Boulder Creek path. The Hotel Boulderado, located just off the scenic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, is a twenty to thirty minute walk from the campus. The Boulderado is also serviced by the Skip bus route, with buses every ten minutes, along Broadway. Debord the bus at the corner of Broadway and University for a five minute walk to the Eaton Humanities Building.
