All students are given webspace on their e-mail server.* The standard issue for students is 10Mb of webspace, although some graduate students gain access to alternate servers which allow for more webspace. Information Technology Services (ITS) is the campus department which provides these services, and their website includes a step-by-step guide to publishing your own website. The main page of their Web Creation Guide is a good place to get started; the first link will give you information about identifying your e-mail server. ITS also maintains a page with suggestions on how to get started with HTML if this is your first webpage experience.
As CU students, you are also granted access to free dial-up internet service through the university. To utilize this service, set your modem to dial 303-218-8000. Your username will be your general university login name and your IdentiKey will be your password. More information on how to dial in is available with ITS.
*ITS also has a page explaining the basics of your university e-mail account.
