9/25 Announcements

1. I do not expect you to be able to do CAPA #4, question 2, item 3 (the book has dropped this material and I did not lecture on it). Check CAPA and Baker websites/e-mail this afternoon.

2. Read Ch. 6, sections 1 &2, for Wednesday's lecture.

3. Work Ch. 6 assigned problems 2 & 6, work through sample problems 6.1 and 6.2 (with the follow-up problems), and start memorizing items in Study Guide sec IV, concept area 1.

4. For the multiple choice portion of EXAM #1 (50 points possible), the average was 32 (the standard error was 9) , the median was 35, and the high was 45 (4x).

5. For the lab portion of EXAM #1 (10 point possible), the average was 4 (the standard error was 4), the median was 5, and the high was 10 (7x)

6. Please see me if your total score on the exam was below 65/110. It is possible to transfer into CHEM 1021 until Friday Sept. 29.

8. CAPA #4 due Weds. 9/27 by 9:00 AM.
