10/13 Announcements

1. Read Ch. 7, section 4, and Ch. 8, sections 1-3, for Monday's lecture.

2. Work Ch. 7 problems 35, 37, 40, 47 and Ch. 8 problems 2, 6, 8, 9, & 15 to prepare for Monday (ALL are conceptual).

3. EXAM 2 practice problems and coversheet are available, with solutions posted on the 1111 Baker bulletin board across from Ekeley M170.

4. Prof. Jonas's EXAM 2 review is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 15 from 7:00 - 9:30 PM in Baker 206.

5. TA Karen Cozzetto's EXAM 2 help session is Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM in Baker 256.

6. EXAM 2 is Thursday, Oct. 19 from 7:30 - 9:00 PM in EDUC 220. (Prof. Niels Damrauer and TA Matthew Montogomery will proctor the exam.)

7. EXAM 2 will cover the following material: Chapter 4 to Chapter 7, section 3; Study Guide section II, concept area 5, to section V, concept area 3; Experiments 2 to 4; and CAPA 4 to 6.

8. It is a good idea to look at the Assigned Problem Solutions, Tutorials, and main 1111 ConcepTests online to help prepare for the multiple choice section of the exam.

9. Last year's EXAM 2 problems 17-20 would not be covered on this year's EXAM 2.
