CHEM 1111 is the first-semester general chemistry course taken by many science majors, pre-medical, and pre-dental students. Prerequisites are one year of high school chemistry and high mathematics through pre-calculus, or satisfactory performance (C- or better) in CHEM 1021, Introductory Chemistry. The course is not recommended for students who earned a grade lower than B- in CHEM 1021.
