The Open House weekends for the Fall 2017 class will be held Spring 2017
During our visits, prospective students have the opportunity to attend a poster session to learn more about the current research of each group. They also have the opportunity to meet casually with different members of our faculty and their respective groups. Prior to arriving in Boulder, visitors will have received a schedule of meeting times with faculty with whom they had previously expressed interest in meeting. In order to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, during the poster session, if a visitor learns of other research of interest, they are permitted to change their schedule as much as they would like. There also divisional meetings and small group meetings throughout the day for visitors to attend. During the evenings visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the city with current graduate students to get a true sense of what it means to be a graduate student at CU, as well as a resident of Boulder. On the last evening of the weekend, visitors will enjoy a nice, informal dinner with many of our wonderful faculty.
Lastly, on the final morning of our Open House weekend, current graduate students and faculty like to take students on a nice, relaxing outdoor activity at the beautiful Chautauqua Park at the base of the Foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
