REU Site Program in Functional Materials CU-Boulder

SOCIAL PROGRAM
To ensure a memorable REU Site Program experience and to enhance the interactions between REU student participants, the following program of social events is planned.

• Welcome reception - buffet luncheon with faculty advisors and student mentors
• Weekly lunch with a featured faculty member
• Bimonthly social function with the graduate students on Friday afternoons
• White water raft trip in Clear Creek Canyon
• NSF-REU night at the CU International Shakespeare Festival
• NSF-REU field trip to the Indian Peaks Wilderness
• NSF-REU farewell banquet
