Chris Bowman Receives 2006 American Institute of Chemicals Engineers R.H. Wilhelm Award
Professor Chris Bowman has been selected to receive the R. H. Wilhelm
Award in Chemical Reaction Engineering from the American Institute of
Chemical Engineers. This award is given to only one individual each
year, for advancing the frontiers of chemical reaction engineering
through originality, creativity and novelty of concept or application.
It is in recognition of Professor Bowman's outstanding contributions to
understanding the mechanisms of polymer reactions and their applications
in nanotechnology, bioengineering, and lab-on-a-chip technologies. The
award will be presented at the AIChE Annual Meeting in November 2006 in
San Francisco. |
