Graduate Student Life

Welcome to our graduate student website. We have had a very active and successful year both in and out of the labs and classrooms. There were many great group activities ranging from the annual hike to the top of 13,223 foot Mt. Audubon to taking in a Rockies game at Coors Field (we made it on the big screen during the 7th inning stretch). We also organized two teams to run in the 170 mile Outward Bound Colorado Relay taking 1st and 3rd in our division. The semester GAANN retreats have allowed us to share our research experiences in rather unique environments such as our most recent snowshoe hut trip that took us into the backcountry of the Colorado Rockies. Life as a graduate student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department at the University of Colorado provides an amazing experience to grow both on a personal and professional level.
