Locker Rentals
The
society’s treasurer collects money from the lockers at the beginning of every
school year. As a community service
based organization, OXE requires funding to successfully function throughout
the school year. Without the money that
comes from these lockers, we are not able to plan social activities for our
members or supply incentives to get others in the department involved. Furthermore, this money is required to buy
materials used for carrying out our various community service activities
(i.e. Middle School Outreach, Voices
for Children, and Christmas decorations for Golden West Retirement home). With the cooperation of those who occupy
these lockers we are able to have an enjoyable academic year filled with
numerous community and social activities.
Lab Glasses
We
sell safety glasses for the junior lab sections at a cheap price. The money from these further helps support
the social and community activities that we plan during the semester.
