CU-Boulder's Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE) has moved to 14th out of 126 chemical engineering programs in the recent 2015 US News & World Report (USNWR) graduate program rankings. This is a considerable improvement from last year's overall ranking of 18th.

The department is also now ranked 8th among public schools, an improvement from 10th last year.

ChBE is already commensurate with a top-ten ranking by quite a few measures, including new grants per faculty, value of new grants per faculty, Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index, publications per faculty, citations per faculty, and citations per paper.

The department would like to thank all its many researchers and collaborators who have made ChBE such a strong department.
