October 2, 2012
The Student Annual Research Symposium (StARS) held October 1 brought in representatives from ten companies and national labs to judge our graduate students' presentations. Prizes were awarded to the top three presenters. This year also included an interactive panel discussion about career paths, finding your first job, and maintaining work-life balance. The panelists were from NREL, RASEI, Los Alamos, Phillips 66, and Amgen. The event was supported in part by funds from industry; please contact the StARS Planning Committee at StARSatCU@gmail.com if you would like be involved or support the symposium next year.
