The Ethnic Living and Learning Community and the LEAD Alliance

Student with personal maskThe CU Leadership, Excellence, Achievement, and Diversity alliance ,is a set of multidisciplinary academic neighborhoods whose students, faculty, and staff are united to promote diversity and educational excellence for students of color and first generation students. The ELLC is an academic and residential neighborhood in the LEAD Alliance. These neighborhoods build community by providing academic enrichment, leadership activities, scholarships, small group classes, personal links to faculty and staff, a gathering place, counseling,mentoring, and opportunities for community service.

ELLC-LEAD Scholarship Program

The ELLC-LEAD Scholarship program seeks to recruiting and retaining a diverse student body.  The scholarship program offers a range of services and financial benefits for highly motivated students of color and first generation college students.  Eligible students must be enrolled in the Ethnic Living and Learning Community (ELLC). Recipients receive a scholarship annually and may participate in the program for four years at CU-Boulder contingent upon their academic progress and fulfillment of program requirements.
