Leadership Curriculum

Fall semester

  • LDSP 1000, The Foundations of 21st Century Leadership-3 credit hours - required for all CLSP students
  • LDSP 1571, Topics in Leadership - 1 credit hour

Spring semester

One course from this list is required of all CLSP students
  • LDSP 2400, Understanding Privilege & Oppression in Contemporary Society - 3 credit hours
  • LDSP 2910, Field Practicum - 1 credit hour OR
  • LDSP 1571, Topics in Leadership- 1 credit hour OR
  • LDSP 1561, Compassionate Leadership and Mindfulness - 1 credit hour

The leadership curriculum is designed to help students understand how institutions and communities solve problems and learn about the different leadership styles needed to work effectively in each setting. Classes help students expand their conceptions of leadership beyond the contexts of position and power.

All CLSP classes are offered in classrooms located in the Darley Commons at Williams Village.
