Chancellor G. P. "Bud" Peterson Invites Nominations for the Hazel Barnes Prize

The Hazel Barnes Prize, which was established in 1991, seeks to focus attention on the enriching relationship between teaching and research.

This award, which includes $20,000 and an engraved university medal, is the premier faculty award provided by the Boulder campus. Nominees should be regionally and nationally recognized, tenured UCB faculty members who are not only outstanding teachers but who also have distinguished records in research and scholarship.

The deadline for nominations is February 25, 2008.
