GENERAL BUSINESS

BK:

- Reminded us that we want to have a final draft in six weeks.
- Announced that Cathryn is leaving. (I am going to work on my
dissertation.) Bill will be hiring a staff person to replace Terri who will
also have the web skills necessary to continue the website work.
- Announced that Pauline will be setting up meetings with each of the
subcommittee chairs.

PH:

- Announced that she will be making appointments with each subcommittee
chair to discuss issues such as: status of current draft, sources of
information, possible holes, rewriting / clarification of writing styles,
and other concerns.

BK gave us an update on the evaluation team:

- 11 have been confirmed.
- 4 have not (Cantor, Price, Sisson, and Hamilton)

The committee then discussed assigning the responses to the concerns of the
evaluation team of 10 years ago. Bill will contact these people and ask
them to draft a response to be included in the introduction of the self
study report.

The committee then turned to Chapter 5:

RP: Suggested that we invite George Walker out soon to ask him what he
wants the evaluation team to do while they are here. This could help us get
a final version of the report that would make the team's visit more
productive.

Next week's agenda:

- want to look at chapter by chapter where we are.
- don't forget that the NCA meeting is moving to 2 pm! starting next week.

Many thanks to all who attended today's meeting. I have enjoyed working
with you all...
