NCA Self Study Committee Meeting
Tuesday, July 13, 1999

Handouts:

1) Excerpt from Chapter 4 of the Accreditation Handbook regarding the criteria for accreditation
2) Chapter-specific information from the Accreditation Handbook for each subcommittee chair

GENERAL BUSINESS

BK:

- Reminder that next week's meeting is downstairs.  I will send out a reminder next Monday.

- We still need a CEO on the team. It was suggested that we opt for John Kasteen
as our #1 choice, someone from Illinois as 2nd choice, and HunterRollings as 3rd choice.

The committee then discussed chapter 3.

We reviewed the report from 10 years ago and it was agreed that the answer
to the recommendations of the last report will be included in the introduction
of the Self Study.

AGENDA FOR UPCOMING MEETING:

I will make copies of the criterion-specific Accreditation Handbook
materials for the entire committee.

July 20th - (meeting in basement in 1B29 from 1-2 pm) continue review of Chapter 3.
