NCA Self Study Committee Meeting
Tuesday, July 6, 1999
Regent 302, 1:00 - 2:00 PM

Present: J. Delaney, B. Kaempfer, C. Marsh, L. McClelland, R. Porreca, D. Pinkow, K. Uchiyama

Handouts:

1) Visiting team members and potential members
2) A small paragraph on analysis destined for Chapter 4 written by BK.

GENERAL BUSINESS

BK:
- Still hasn't heard anything from Susan Avery
- Handout: visiting team member information
- the committee looked over names and omitted some
- Bill will get more information on those that are still potential members

CHAPTER 2

BK:
- Handout: analysis (will end up in Chapter 4)
- Chapter 2 focuses on the organization of resources whereas Chapter 4 focuses on the availability of resources.

Specific comments regarding Chapter 2 were given to David Pinkow.

Bill will ask Phil about a study done on the structure of Arts and Sciences several years ago. This will help with analysis of organization of academic units.

ANNOUCEMENTS:

1) Next NCA Self Study Committee meeting is July 13th, 1-2:00 PM in Regent 302. Agenda will be announced later...
2) We will NOT meet on July 27th.
