Minutes: 9-8-98Present: S. Avery, S. Dalrymple, B. Foote, B. Kaempfer, G. Kozik-Rosabal, T. Lyons, C. Marsh, L. McClelland, D. Pinkow, R. Porreca, M. Swadener. Brangwyn notified the Group that a Regent would be joining the committee. Brangwyn asked if the Chairs of sub-committee had the information that was needed (procedures etc). There will be more information coming that will inform committee action. Think about the procedure needed:
Brangwyn asked for sub-committee timelines of what would happen, when and how. Brangwyn will provide support as needed by the sub-committees. Sub-committees have to be very organized to finish on time. Committees 1, 2, 4 & 5 have better chance of getting material earlier than the timeline has allotted. Lou M. has information on quality indicators that can be accessed on website (http://www.colorado.edu/pba/). Sub-committee chairs should review: under graduate and graduate education survey (info. Technology) The Self Study Committee as a whole will not meet a lot this semester - mostly sub-committees. Brangwyn will be in touch with each chair of each sub-committee, All major units need to keep Brangwyn informed as to how the preparation of their report is coming along, Some individuals will be on more than one sub committee. Susan Avery would like to utilize R-302 when meeting with her sub-committee. Needed are:
This is not a description document, so much as an analytical one that might offer suggestions to alter the strategic plan that exists. Lou will pass on material to Susan Avery.
