Action Plans and Recommendations

  • Continue to focus internal communications efforts on increasing understanding of the four campus TLE goals, as implemented through the Integrated Resource Management System (IRMS). Furthermore, the systemwide fundraising campaign offers an opportunity to communicate the TLE goals externally as well as internally.

  • Utilize the integrated communications plan (Minds to Match Our Mountains) to enhance the institution’s academic reputation and build awareness of the campus’ service role in the state. Improve content and navigation of the campus web site through the services of the new Web Communications Office. Improve relationships and understanding among Colorado communities and school districts through community relations programs.

  • Consider consolidating the various statements of campuswide mission and purposes into a single statement that is used throughout CU-Boulder's primary communications. Consider including the university’s role in preparing students for responsible citizenship.
