Boulder Campus Faculty - Winter CeremonyAcademic Regalia Rental InformationFaculty needing to rent academic regalia for the winter ceremony should fill out the online Regalia Order Form by November 7. The Chancellor’s Office will pay for the cost of the rental. Your regalia will be available for pick up in Room 247 of the University Memorial Center on:
After the ceremony, rented regalia must be returned to Room 247 of the University Memorial Center by 5:00 p.m. that day. Any regalia not returned at this time can be returned to the CU Book Store, located in the UMC, during regular business hours. Faculty Line-up/ProcessionFaculty should line up on the concourse (upper) level near the southeast entrance of the Coors Events/Conference Center Events Center map at 9:00 a.m. If you need to have a seat before the procession, seating will be reserved at the rear of Section 11. Faculty will lead the procession down to the arena level after the undergraduate students have been seated. Seating will be reserved in front of the seating area on the arena level for the faculty. The procession will start at 9:30 a.m. Hooding of Doctoral and Law StudentsDoctoral and law candidates will be hooded during the ceremony, prior to coming to the platform stage to be individually recognized. If you plan to participate in the hooding of a graduate student, please march with that student in the procession, and sit with him/her during the ceremony. When the hooding is announced, walk with the student to the hooding area at the right of the platform, where Marshals will assist you. Other EventsChancellor’s Brunch Faculty who attend the winter ceremony are invited to attend the Chancellor’s brunch immediately following in Room 3 on the conference level of the Events Center.
