Written Assignments and Examinations

With the exception of supervised exams, written assignments will be mailed directly to you by the student. Assignments may be contained in a wrapper which you can return to the students in window envelopes provided by our office. Please let us know if you prefer blank window or windows with our return address. The syllabus says that students can expect assignments to be returned within 10-14 days. Late return of assignments is the single most consistent gripe students have. (I am very pleased to add that our office receives relatively few such complaints.)

Independent Learning via Correspondence contains proctored exams. Students request exams when they have completed all required assignments. Exams may be proctored through our office or mailed to a qualified proctor chosen by our out-of-city/state students. All exams are logged in and sent to you for evaluation and comment. Signed grade cards are to be attached to all Final exams. The white copy of the exam cover sheet is sent to the student with their grade and comments. We also have an alternate comment sheet available from our office. Please note grades in your grade book, on the comment sheet and on the grade card before returning exams to our office. Exams are not sent to the student, but are kept for their review in our office for three months.
