Suggestions
Your
responses may be included within the text of the email message and emailed
assignments since we discourage email attachments. Attachments can infect
computers with emailed viruses, and the university cannot guarantee
everyone taking a course has an updated version of virus protection
software. Just in case, it is helpful to have your own virus protection
software installed to notify you if a document contains a virus. McAffee
is available from the ITS ftp site and is updatable online.
When sending
responses within a student's text, one suggestion is to put asterisks
(***) in front of your comments to set them off as feedback. While some
instructors use all CAPS, this approach may be interpreted as yelling.
