Scott Robson is the executive director of The Colorado Mountain Club, one of Colorado’s oldest nonprofit organizations, focused on teaching technical skills in the mountains, conservation and recreation. A native of Colorado, Scott has almost 20 years of experience in conservation, public land management and public policy issues.  His professional background ranges from land-use and trail planning in Grand and Boulder Counties and project management for the National Park Service, to his appointment by Mayor Hickenlooper as the City of Denver’s manager of Parks & Recreation.  Scott holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design (ENVD) from the University of Colorado Boulder and has stayed involved with ENVD by participating as a reviewer for various senior design studios.   Robson also holds master's degree in community & regional planning from the University of Oregon and is an avid skier, mountaineer, cyclist and father of two.
