Ryan Colla
ENVS and Applied Mathematics
CEDaR

My name is Ryan Colla, and I’m going into my senior year at the University of Colorado Boulder.  Originally from San Francisco, I moved to Colorado to pursue a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies/science with a minor in applied mathematics.  As I began towards my major I realized I had a knack for the more mathematical or technical side of environmentalism, which is why I have pursued math.  My goal upon graduation is to enter into the field of environmental and sustainable design and planning, taking both my understanding of environmental policy and complex mathematics to become a unique asset for whichever company I work for.  Until then I plan on gaining as much relevant work experience as I can and enjoying the Rockies with my dog!
