The analytical, multicultural, and creative demands of construction require a committed and diverse faculty to ensure the preparation of future engineering leaders. Our team, comprised of five full-time professors and researchers, provides students with a complete spectrum of technical, practical, and research skills needed to excel in the engineering-construction industry.
The educational environment of the Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) program is built on a foundation of focused curriculum and practical skills. We couple our honored faculty’s unique industry experiences, research, and perspectives with the expertise of adjunct professors specializing in legal issues, cost estimating, and transportation. As an integral part of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, CEM students have the opportunity to work with and learn from world experts in such disciplines as building systems, structural, geotechnical, water, and environmental engineering.
We strive to maintain a culture conducive to the nourishment of our students’ life-long learning while helping them achieve a satisfying career in practical engineering and construction fields, academia or post graduate research.
We look forward to providing the experience and knowledge you are seeking.
