College of Engineering and Applied Science

T he College of Engineering and Applied Science offers 12 undergraduate degrees: aerospace engineering sciences, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and computer engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical and biological engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, and engineering physics. The first eight of the degree programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 210202-4012, telephone 410-347-7700. The chemical and biological engineering program is a new degree program for which accreditation is currently being sought from the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. The computer science program is currently seeking accreditation from the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. The two remaining degree programs are applied sciences; accreditation from ABET is not being sought for these programs. Degrees in applied mathematics and engineering physics are offered in cooperation with the Departments of Applied Mathematics and Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences. The CU-Boulder campus is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
