Two 5-hour periods per week. The first hour of each period is lecture, the remainder is laboratory. Introduction to modern biochemical techniques. Topics include enzymology, spectrophotometry, electrophoresis affinity chromatography, radioisotopes, recombinant DNA, and molecular cloning. Prereq., CHEM 4711 (min grade of C-).
