The Koelbel Building
Finished in fall 2007, The Leeds School of Business
expansion and renovation added 65,000 square
feet to the existing 100,000-square-foot building,
providing students a wide range of new facilities
to enhance their educational experience.
The Deming Center for Entrepreneurship
provides access to a rich academic program.
The classroom experience is enhanced by the
relationships the center has with the
entrepreneurial community including CU
graduates who have started businesses such as
Mad Greens, Crocs, and Aurora Organic Dairy.

The student-owned and -operated TREP Café was
able to expand from a coffee cart to a café in the Koelbel
Building. Created with a loan from the Leeds School and
the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship, the café
provides hands-on experience in managing the day-to-day
operations of a small business.
The Leeds School has emphasized international outreach with programs like its partnership with the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta in summer 2007 that provided an international immersion program at the Leeds School involving teaching, research, and academic collaboration.
