ANTH-4610 (3) Medical Anthropology

Cultural factors determine states of health and illness in both Western and non-Western societies. The transition from traditional to modern status creates new problems including population growth, aging, changing patterns of morbidity, mortality and health care, and new socioeconomic consequences. Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Junior or Senior). Prereq., ANTH 2100. Same as ANTH 5610. Prerequisites: Restricted to students with 57-180 credits (Juniors or Seniors).
